The Tampa Bay Rays swept the New York Yankees out of the playoffs, prompting star player Aaron Judge to demand big offseason changes from the front office.

Another Early Exit for New York

The New York Yankees are out of the postseason early once again. The Tampa Bay Rays completed a sweep in the American League Division Series with a 4-3 win. This loss ends the Yankees' season and extends their championship drought to 17 seasons.

For team star Aaron Judge, it is another year without a World Series ring. Judge turned 34 in April and has now played 10 full major league seasons without a championship. He watched the Rays celebrate on the Yankees' home field, a sight he said he hated. "Just hating every single moment of it," Judge said.

Frustration in the Clubhouse

Judge missed the series due to injury. He strained his right calf on September 16, just seven games after returning from a fractured rib. Without him, the Yankees struggled against a Tampa Bay team with a much lower payroll.

The series brought drama both on and off the field. Manager Aaron Boone made major lineup changes for Game 3, benching Jazz Chisholm Jr. Chisholm was not happy about the decision and said he was confused by the lack of communication. When he came in as a pinch hitter, fans booed him.

Boone has now made eight playoff appearances in nine seasons as manager without winning a World Series. He has one year left on his contract and said he wants to return.

Judge Demands Action

After the final loss, Judge had a clear message for the team's front office. He wants the ownership to spend money and make big moves before the next season.

"We're the Yankees," Judge said. "I feel like they should go all in and do what they need to do." He added that if the team has holes, they must find the players to fill them.
