Tyler, The Creator joins Barcelona kit tradition
Barcelona have named rapper and fashion designer Tyler, The Creator as the latest music act to feature on their special shirt for El Clásico. The Catalan club will wear his streetwear brand logo, GOLF WANG, across the front of their jersey when they host Real Madrid at Camp Nou on 25 October.
The change comes as part of Barcelona's sponsorship deal with Spotify. On top of the main shirt logo, the artist has designed a range of extra apparel. This collection includes a letterman jacket, a fleece, a beanie hat, and a retro leopard print Barcelona jersey.
Drake, Rosalía and Coldplay lead past shirt logos
Tyler, The Creator is the ninth musical act to feature on Barcelona shirts during matches against Real Madrid over the last five years. The trend started in October 2022 when Canadian rapper Drake put his OVO owl emblem on the kit during a 3-1 loss at the Bernabéu.
In March 2023, local singer Rosalía brought better luck when her Motomami album logo appeared in a 2-1 home victory. Later that year, The Rolling Stones placed their lips and tongue logo on the shirt during a 2-1 loss where Jude Bellingham scored twice for Real Madrid.
Previous matches featuring special edition shirts
Barcelona fell 3-2 to Real Madrid while wearing Karol G's barbed wire heart logo in April 2024. They later won 4-0 at the Bernabéu while wearing Coldplay's lunar logo, with Robert Lewandowski, Lamine Yamal and Raphinha scoring the goals.
Travis Scott's Cactus Jack logo featured in a 4-3 win in May 2025, even though Kylian Mbappé scored three goals for Real Madrid. Ed Sheeran's Play album artwork appeared on the jerseys during a 2-1 defeat in October 2025. Olivia Rodrigo's butterfly logo was worn in May 2026, when Hansi Flick's side won 2-0 to secure the LaLiga title.
