Missing Stars for Wembley

The Houston Texans are heading to London to face the Jacksonville Jaguars without a couple of key starters. Houston currently holds a 1-4 record, while the Jaguars sit at 4-1 for the season. The game will take place at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.

The Texans ruled out running back David Montgomery and safety Jalen Pitre for the matchup. Both players suffered their injuries during last week's 26-3 victory over the Tennessee Titans. Montgomery is dealing with a groin issue, while Pitre has a shoulder injury. Both men have started every single game for the team this season.

Who Steps Up in Their Place

With Montgomery sidelined, second-year running back Woody Marks is expected to carry the heavy load. Montgomery has rushed for 138 yards and two touchdowns this season, alongside seven receptions for 67 yards and another score. Marks is averaging 3.5 yards per carry and has 149 yards rushing with two touchdowns of his own.

In the secondary, rookie safety Kamari Ramsey is likely to step in for Pitre. Meanwhile, wide receiver Tank Dell will also stay behind and miss the London trip. Dell has been practicing over the last two weeks after starting the season on injured reserve while recovering from a serious knee injury suffered in December of 2024.
