The Stage Is Set For Game Two
The Milwaukee Brewers host the Tampa Bay Rays on Saturday night for Game 2 of the World Series. Milwaukee took the opening game on Friday night, putting early pressure on Tampa Bay. Now, Tampa Bay needs a victory to even the series, or Milwaukee will take a 2-0 lead.
The second game of the Fall Classic starts at 8 p.m. ET. Tampa Bay will try to bounce back after losing the first game, while the host team looks to double their lead in the series.
Pitching Matchup On The Mound
Both teams have named their starting pitchers for this matchup. Drew Rasmussen will take the mound as the starter for the Tampa Bay Rays. On the other side, Logan Henderson will start for the Milwaukee Brewers.
Rasmussen faces a big job as the Rays aim to stop the Brewers from taking complete control early in the series. Henderson will look to build on his team's winning start from Friday night and give Milwaukee a strong advantage.
Rays Confirm Their Batting Order
Tampa Bay has officially named their starting lineup for Game 2. Yandy Diaz leads off as the designated hitter, followed by Jonathan Aranda at first base. Chandler Simpson plays left field and bats third, while Junior Caminero takes the fourth spot at third base.
Liam Hicks bats fifth as the catcher, with Richie Palacios coming next at second base. Jonny DeLuca is set to start in center field, batting seventh. Victor Mesa Jr. takes the eighth spot in right field, and Taylor Walls rounds out the order at shortstop.
Brewers Lineup Still To Be Confirmed
While Tampa Bay has announced their starting order, the Milwaukee Brewers lineup is still to be determined. Fans are waiting to see who Milwaukee will send out to back up Logan Henderson on the mound.
With the first game already won, Milwaukee has the early momentum. A victory on Saturday puts them in a strong position, but Tampa Bay will fight hard to keep the series level.
