Squad changes in Philadelphia
The Philadelphia 76ers announced on Saturday that center Tacko Fall has been converted to a two-way contract. Last month, the team signed the 7-foot-6 player to an Exhibit 10 deal. This move brings Fall back to the NBA for what will be his fourth season in the league.
Frontcourt injury troubles
Injuries in the frontcourt forced the team to make this change. Ariel Hukporti suffered a season-ending right Achilles tear during the preseason. Adem Bona has missed time with a foot injury, and Dominick Barlow dealt with back soreness that kept him out of preseason action.
Looking back at his career
Fall has not played in the NBA since the 2021-22 season, when he was with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He spent his first two seasons in Boston alongside new Sixers forward Jaylen Brown. The 30-year-old center most recently played for the Ningbo Rockets in the Chinese Basketball Association.
