More injury worries for San Francisco

For the fourth straight week, the San Francisco 49ers clawed out a victory against the Denver Broncos, but they were unable to come out of the game without injury concerns.

On Sunday, the Niners lost fullback Kyle Juszczyk to a knee injury, safety Marques Sigle to an ankle problem, and slot cornerback Upton Stout to a shoulder issue. None of them were able to finish the match.

Updates from Kyle Shanahan

After the 24-14 victory, coach Kyle Shanahan offered updates on all three players, with further evaluation scheduled for Monday. Shanahan spoke about Juszczyk, noting they thought it was probably a knee sprain and that the ACL looked intact.

Juszczyk was hurt in the fourth quarter following a 16-yard gain from a Brock Purdy pass. He stayed down for a few minutes before medical staff helped him to the sideline.

Shanahan also mentioned that Stout likely suffered an AC sprain, while the team was not entirely sure about the specifics of Sigle's ankle issue yet. Sigle had earlier returned from a stinger in the third quarter before hurting his ankle near the sideline late in the game.
