Moving On

Ruben Amorim stated he had nothing to say about Manchester United ahead of AC Milan's Europa League match against Bournemouth on Thursday night. The 41-year-old manager was sacked by United in January after 14 months in charge, and took over at the Serie A club in June.

Speaking at a press conference at the Vitality Stadium, Amorim noted that he loved the club and the atmosphere during his time in England. He added that what happened in the past does not change his feelings, but he is now fully focused on his current team.

Team News

Amorim confirmed that Samuel Chukwueze is unavailable due to a hip problem. Goncalo Ramos has also sustained a calf strain and will miss out.

The manager expects 19-year-old Alphadjo Cisse to feature in the line-up against the Cherries. Amorim believes the young player has reached only 50 percent of his potential so far.

Looking Forward

Reflecting on his coaching career, Amorim stated that he feels he has more experience now, even if he is not a different person. He believes he understands football better and can deal with future problems more effectively.

Meanwhile, the man who replaced him at United, Michael Carrick, is facing serious pressure following a difficult start to the season. Carrick's side recently suffered a 4-1 defeat against Como in Italy.
