Real Madrid Closing In On Young Star

Manchester United look set to lose 16 year old attacking midfielder JJ Gabriel. The teenager requested to leave the club in September and asked for his registration to be cancelled. He has been absent from United since then, and efforts to keep him at Old Trafford have not worked.

Real Madrid are now increasingly confident that they can sign the young attacker. A move to Spain has been seen as his preferred option for a long time. Barcelona are also interested, while Paris Saint Germain, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are watching the situation as well.

Premier League Clubs Target Defenders And Strikers

English sides are actively looking at defensive targets ahead of the transfer window. Villarreal right back Alex Freeman is attracting interest from Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur. The 22 year old United States international impressed in 2026 under Mauricio Pochettino at the World Cup. Tottenham want a right back because of uncertainty over Pedro Porro, even though the 27 year old signed a contract extension in the summer.

Barcelona left back Alejandro Balde has accepted that he must leave Spain to get regular minutes. The 23 year old is attracted to a move to England. Manchester United and other Premier League clubs are keen on Balde, who is yet to start a match for Barcelona this season behind Joao Cancelo and Xavi Espart.

Attackers On The Move Across Europe

Monaco striker Folarin Balogun has been offered to several top sides. Representatives for the 25 year old United States international have made Manchester United, Everton, Leeds United, Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest aware of his availability. Juventus have also been approached. Manchester United are considering Balogun before January, while Crystal Palace striker Jean Philippe Mateta stays on their list.

In other transfer news, Tottenham are tracking Nottingham Forest attacking midfielder Morgan Gibbs White for a potential January transfer, though Forest believe they will keep him. Liverpool are considering centre backs Nico Schlotterbeck from Borussia Dortmund and Murillo from Nottingham Forest. Brighton goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen is seen as a possible replacement for Thibaut Courtois at Real Madrid.
