Real Madrid Target Calafiori While Arsenal Seek Attackers
Real Madrid have listed Arsenal defender Riccardo Calafiori as a main target to strengthen their left back spot. Initial inquiries have been made ahead of a possible transfer in the summer of 2027. Arsenal will require a substantial fee before considering any deal.
Mikel Arteta is active in the market as well. Arsenal are looking at Bournemouth forward Junior Kroupi for a potential January move. The 20 year old is also being pursued by Paris Saint Germain and Bayern Munich. Bournemouth do not want to let him go mid season. Arteta is also paying attention to Juventus winger Kenan Yildiz.
Manchester United Scout Dortmund Stars and Track Midfield Talent
Manchester United sent scouts to watch Borussia Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy during their 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich. The 30 year old scored his eighth goal of the season in that match. United also kept an eye on his teammates Jobe Bellingham, Felix Nmecha, and Daniel Svensson.
United are pushing to sign VfB Stuttgart goalkeeper Dennis Seimen. They are also monitoring Atletico Madrid midfielder Pablo Barrios, who is wanted by Paris Saint Germain too. In defense, United and Chelsea like Como player Jacobo Ramón, but Real Madrid have a clause that allows them to bring him back to Spain.
Premier League and La Liga Transfer Moves
Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton is widely expected to leave Selhurst Park next summer. Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United continue to track the 22 year old. He is entering the final two years of his contract, and any transfer is expected to cost around 80 million pounds.
Barcelona and Brighton are both watching 18 year old Estoril defender Jordan Arnolin. The Portuguese youth international can play across the defense and in midfield. Meanwhile, Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick views 22 year old midfielder Gavi as part of his long term plans and does not want him to leave.
Contract Talks and January Bargains
Liverpool are working to start contract extension talks with 35 year old defender Virgil van Dijk before his current deal expires next June. Meanwhile, RB Leipzig could allow winger Johan Bakayoko to leave in January if an offer of 12 million euros is presented.
Lazio are close to an agreement to extend winger Gustav Isaksen until the summer of 2031. Benfica are looking to sign Boca Juniors defender Lautaro Di Lollo, and Atletico Madrid have started moves for Almeria midfielder Stefan Dzodic.
