Big Trade Details

The Philadelphia Eagles are trading two-time Pro Bowl center Cam Jurgens and a 2027 seventh-round pick to the Baltimore Ravens. In return, the Eagles receive a 2027 fifth-round pick and a 2028 second-round pick.

The Ravens announced the trade but did not disclose the specific draft picks involved in the transaction. This deal follows major changes for the Eagles, including All-Pro right tackle Lane Johnson retiring from the NFL. The Eagles had previously moved Jurgens to left guard after Landon Dickerson suffered a knee injury. Additionally, Jurgens reported concussion symptoms and entered the concussion protocol.

Filling a Need in Baltimore

The Ravens needed help at center after Tyler Linderbaum left to sign with the Las Vegas Raiders in free agency. Jovaughn Gwyn won the starting job in training camp, but he went on injured reserve with a fractured fibula. Ethan Pocic, his backup, also landed on injured reserve with a knee injury.

Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta talked about the new addition. Cam is a player we have long admired going all the way back to the draft process. He is a young foundational piece along our offensive line, a great scheme and cultural fit who will contribute quickly in Baltimore. We are confident that Cam will significantly impact our team and community, DeCosta said in a statement.
