The Post Game Incident

Los Angeles Rams left tackle Alaric Jackson is expected to receive a two game suspension without pay from the NFL. The punishment comes after Jackson punched Buffalo Bills outside linebacker Bradley Chubb following a Monday night game. The incident happened near midfield while Jackson was exchanging jerseys with Deone Walker. Bradley Chubb said something to Jackson, leading Jackson to walk over and strike Chubb in the face with his right hand.

Cameras captured the entire scene, showing Jackson without his shoulder pads and jersey while Chubb was still in full uniform. Rams tight end Colby Parkinson quickly pulled Jackson away from the altercation. This upcoming suspension will mark the second time in the NFL career of Alaric Jackson that he has faced a two game ban, following a similar suspension in 2024 for violating the personal conduct policy of the league.

Reactions From The Players

Bradley Chubb spoke to reporters in the Buffalo locker room about what transpired on the field. He pointed out that emotions ran high during a close contest. Chubb explained that the league often penalizes the player who retaliates, so he chose not to throw a punch back and let his teammates hold him back.

Chubb kept a positive attitude while addressing the media after the game. He mentioned that tempers flared, but both teams moved past the incident and focused on future matches. When asked if the punch connected, Chubb simply smiled and stated he was ready for next week.
