Team News for Sunday

Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald will not play Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles. Coach Sean McVay shared on Friday that Donald is dealing with back soreness following the Week 3 loss to the Denver Broncos.

McVay explained that Donald felt discomfort and the medical staff decided to protect him. Donald came out of retirement in late August and has played fifty six percent of the defensive snaps this season.

Receiver Boost

While the defense misses a key piece, the offense receives a welcome addition. Wide receiver Puka Nacua returns from a hip injury after missing the past two matches.

Nacua suffered the injury in mid September during practice. McVay noted that the receiver looked sharp during practice on Thursday, though the team will monitor his overall conditioning and snap count.

Other Injury Updates

The Rams also ruled out tight end Terrance Ferguson due to an ankle injury. Cornerback Jaylen Watson misses the game with a shoulder problem as well.

Additionally, tight end Colby Parkinson is listed as questionable with knee and shoulder issues. The team hopes other players can step up in their absence.
