Salah Shines in Big Win
Mohamed Salah put on a masterclass for Trabzonspor as they secured a stunning 4-0 victory over Super Lig leaders Galatasaray. The forward was in unstoppable form, scoring three goals and setting up another in a memorable performance that left the league leaders shocked.
The match started with high intensity, and it did not take long for the home side to make their mark. Salah opened the scoring after just four minutes of play. Trabzonspor hit the visitors on a quick counter attack. Salah collected the ball, ran all the way from his own half, and calmly slotted it past goalkeeper Ugurcan Çakir to give his side an early lead. This early goal set the tone for the rest of the match.
Double Trouble Before Halftime
The home side did not stop there and kept pressing the league leaders. In the 39th minute, Salah turned provider. He set up Noah Saviolo, who made no mistake in doubling the lead for Trabzonspor and putting the home side in a very comfortable position.
Just five minutes later, the match was effectively over as a contest. Salah found the back of the net for his second goal of the night in the 44th minute. He was played in by Francolino and finished clinically to put Trabzonspor 3-0 up before the halftime whistle. The Galatasaray defence had no answers for the quick attacking play of the home team.
Hat Trick and a Street Honour
The forward saved his best for last to put the icing on the cake. Ten minutes from the final whistle, Salah completed his first hat trick in Trabzonspor colours. The goal was scored in a similar fashion to his opening strike of the match. He once again ran from his own half before finishing to seal the 4-0 win and send the home fans into wild celebrations.
This spectacular performance took Salah's goal tally to seven for the season. It has been a great period for the forward, who has also had a street named after him in Turkiye. Trabzonspor fans will hope he can keep up this incredible goalscoring form as the season progresses.
