Manchester United target new forwards
Manchester United are planning to bring in a new striker in January, and Leeds United forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin is on their list. The 29 year old striker has scored four goals in eight Premier League matches this season. Leeds are keen to keep him at Elland Road and could offer him a new contract to stop a move.
United are also looking at other options to rebuild their squad. They have held talks with the representatives of Manchester City left back Rayan Aït-Nouri, who has not played a single minute in the Premier League this season. United are also battling Arsenal for Club Brugge striker Nicolò Tresoldi.
Alexander-Arnold and Estêvão face uncertain futures
Liverpool are weighing up a loan move for Real Madrid right back Trent Alexander-Arnold in January. Manager Andoni Iraola wants extra depth in defence. The 28 year old has struggled for playing time in Spain, with Federico Valverde starting ahead of him in Real Madrid's 2-1 win over Barcelona on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Chelsea winger Estêvão could be allowed to leave in January. The 19 year old was an unused substitute when Chelsea lost on penalties after a 1-1 Carabao Cup draw against Liverpool on Wednesday. Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool are both monitoring his situation.
Young talents on the radar across Europe
Borussia Dortmund winger Mathis Albert is attracting heavy interest from top English sides. Manchester City lead the race to sign the 17 year old by offering a big contract. Dortmund have turned down offers before, but an offer of 20 million euros could seal the transfer.
Arsenal are planning to open contract talks with goalkeeper David Raya to block interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona. Elsewhere, AC Milan want Real Madrid striker Endrick, while Inter Milan are leading the race to sign Liverpool winger Federico Chiesa.
