DJ Moore Forced Off Against Lions

The Buffalo Bills suffered a major setback during their Thursday night game against the Detroit Lions when wide receiver DJ Moore was forced out of the game with a shoulder injury. The key receiver was hurt late in the second quarter of the matchup in Orchard Park, New York.

The injury happened when Moore landed heavily on his left shoulder in the end zone. He stayed on the ground for a few minutes while medical staff attended to him. He then left the field and went straight to the locker room for further evaluation.

Medical staff examined the receiver for two separate issues, looking at both his shoulder and a stinger. The Bills initially announced that Moore was questionable to return to the game. However, they downgraded his status to out just after halftime, ending his night early.

A Big Loss for Buffalo's Offense

Moore arrived in Buffalo before the season started, joining the team through an offseason trade with the Chicago Bears. He quickly established himself as the top wide receiver on the roster and a key target for quarterback Josh Allen.

He immediately stepped into the role of the number one receiver. His connection with quarterback Josh Allen looked strong from the very beginning of the season.

In the Week 1 road victory against the Houston Texans, Moore was a major factor. He caught five receptions for 100 yards and scored one touchdown to help the Bills secure the win. In contrast, his night against the Lions ended with zero catches before he was forced to leave the game.
