Liverpool target Tzolakis and defensive cover

Liverpool are monitoring Hull City goalkeeper Konstantinos Tzolakis as a potential long term successor to Alisson Becker, according to reports. The twenty three year old has stood out this season, and Hull expect to hold talks next month while other suitors monitor the situation. Tottenham Hotspur are also linked, with his transfer valued at forty million pounds.

At the same time, Liverpool are weighing up options at right back due to concerns over Jeremie Frimpong and Conor Bradley. Frimpong has not started a league game since August, and Bradley is recovering from a long term knee injury. Barcelona defender Jules Kounde is one of the names on their shortlist.

Other Premier League transfer news

Manchester United are watching Fulham teenager Josh King. The nineteen year old attacker could cost fifty million pounds, and a deal is more likely next summer than in January. King has scored two goals in six league matches this season, and multiple European clubs are interested.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are closing in on new contracts for midfielders Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard, alongside ongoing talks with defender Jurrien Timber. Arsenal are optimistic about confirming these extensions before January.
