Trial Begins in Florida

NFL player Tyreek Hill faces allegations from his wife, Lakeeta Vaccaro, during a civil assault and battery trial in Florida. Vaccaro gave more than three hours of testimony and cross-examination on Tuesday. Her testimony is part of the couple's divorce proceedings. An NFL spokesperson stated that the allegations remain under review of the personal conduct policy. Vaccaro previously had a relative involved in the NFL, as she is the sister of former receiver Kenny Vaccaro. Hill previously pleaded guilty to a domestic violence case involving another woman in 2014.

Arguments and Alleged Incidents

Vaccaro told the court that the abuse started on Jan. 10, 2024, after an argument over a post-nuptial agreement. She alleged that Hill put his hands around her neck, tried to take her wedding ring, and wrestled her to a bed. She took a photo of markings on her chest to document the event. Vaccaro also described an incident on July 12, 2024, at a hotel in Bristol, Connecticut, where she alleged Hill attempted to punch her in the stomach while she was pregnant. She stated that she blocked the punch with her hands, noting that if she had not done so, it would have hit her. She also said Hill pulled her hair and broke her sunglasses during that trip.

More Allegations Shared in Court

Vaccaro recounted several other incidents during her testimony. She claimed Hill threw her luggage and forced her out of the house on Jan. 30, 2024, and shoved an unlit cigar butt in her mouth. She also alleged that Hill spit in her face on November 24, 2024, when she did not have his pregame outfit ready, which was a day before she went into labor. Another argument happened on April 7, 2025, at their Miami condominium, where nanny camera footage captured the dispute. Hill's attorneys focused their cross-examination on timeline inconsistencies from January 2024 and the couple's wedding details.
