Surgery after London trip

Jacksonville Jaguars left tackle Anton Harrison will have arthroscopic surgery on his right knee when the team returns from London next week. The team does not yet know the severity of the injury. Harrison sustained the problem during last Sunday's 19-17 victory over Philadelphia at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Depending on what surgeons find, Harrison could be out three to five weeks or the remainder of the regular season. The Jaguars currently hold a 4-1 record and are set to play Houston at Wembley Stadium before flying back to Jacksonville.

Squad changes and background

Walker Little, who came in after Harrison got hurt, is expected to start at left tackle. Harrison was injured while blocking on a running play, specifically a sweep to the right by Bhayshul Tuten.

Harrison appeared to grab his right knee after disengaging from a block and went down to the ground. He was eventually taken off the field on a cart.

Career status

Harrison was the 27th overall pick in 2023. He was moved from right tackle to left tackle during training camp. He had missed just three games at right tackle in his first three seasons.

The Jaguars picked up Harrison's fifth-year option in April.
