Major Double Boost for Jacksonville

The Jacksonville Jaguars have received massive news ahead of their Thursday night match against the Baltimore Ravens. Running back Bhayshul Tuten and defensive end Travon Walker have both been declared active for the contest.

Tuten was a major concern for the team earlier in the week. He suffered foot and ankle injuries during Sunday's victory over the Indianapolis Colts at EverBank Stadium. Because of those problems, he missed practice entirely throughout the week.

Head coach Liam Coen stated on Wednesday that the running back would be a game time decision. Tuten took part in pregame workouts to test his fitness. He completed lateral drills, sprint starts, and took handoffs from backup quarterback Nick Mullens before getting the green light to play.

Tuten Looks to Maintain Strong Form

Getting Tuten back on the field is a major positive for Jacksonville. Selected in the fourth round of the 2025 draft, he has quickly established himself as the team's leading rusher this season with 492 yards.

He enters this fixture on the back of his best performance yet. Against Indianapolis, he rushed for a career high 104 yards. He scored one touchdown on the ground and added a second score after catching a screen pass.

Walker Ready and Ravens Injury News

Travon Walker is another key player who made the cut for Jacksonville. Walker leads the team with three sacks this season. He was also injured in the win against the Colts, but he managed to practice on a limited basis on Tuesday and Wednesday.

While the Jaguars received positive news, the Baltimore Ravens will be without a key defender. Top cornerback Nate Wiggins has been ruled inactive for Thursday's game.

Wiggins missed practice on Wednesday due to a stinger and illness, which led to him being added to the injury report late. His absence will leave a gap in the Baltimore secondary as they try to stop Jacksonville's offense.
