Positive Practice Update

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson took a big step forward on Wednesday. He was listed as a full participant in practice for the first time in nearly a month. This development brings hope to the team as they prepare to face the Buffalo Bills on the road this Sunday.

Jackson suffered a left ankle sprain 24 days ago and missed the last three games. During Wednesday session, he jogged onto the field with his left ankle taped. He moved well while throwing passes to wide receiver Zay Flowers and handing off to running back Derrick Henry.

Coach And Teammate Reactions

Ravens coach Jesse Minter shared his thoughts on the quarterback progress. He noted that being able to do more and respond well to the workload raises team optimism.

Offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley also spoke about the situation. He admitted that getting Jackson back would be a big boost, while pointing out that the team wants to support their star player rather than relying on him to carry everyone.

Offensive Struggles Without Jackson

The Ravens went 1-2 with Tyler Huntley stepping in as the starting quarterback during the absence of Jackson. The offense struggled recently, failing to score any second half points in their last two losses.

Statistics show a clear difference when Jackson is on the field. The team managed 14 touchdowns during 14 quarters with Jackson this season, compared to just five touchdowns in 14 quarters without him. Running back Derrick Henry called Jackson the heart and soul of the team and the offense.
