The everyman quarterback on commercial sets
Professional athletes often show up to commercial shoots with strict limits. Some stars will only run at half speed or throw a ball a few times. Crew members note that Josh Allen is completely different.
Alex Bower, a former creative director who worked on Allen's Gatorade campaign, praised his full commitment. Allen gave many takes running lines and throwing the ball full speed on a hot day in Los Angeles. Creators say he stays on set with the crew rather than hiding in his trailer.
A growing portfolio of major brand deals
Allen has built a massive list of endorsements. He has partnered with Nike, New Era, New Balance, Nationwide, and Natrol Sleep. He is also working with Wonderful Pistachios on a new campaign.
According to Forbes, Allen brings in $17.5 million in off-field earnings, making him the second-highest earner in that category among NFL players behind Patrick Mahomes. Along with his football salary, his total earnings place him high on the global sports list.
