A Stunning Touchdown Catch
Efton Chism III made one of the best catches of the NFL season Sunday. His diving one-handed touchdown catch with 1:50 remaining helped the New England Patriots rally to upset the Buffalo Bills in a 29-26 victory.
Buffalo's C.J. Gardner-Johnson was not impressed by the play. He called Chism a "practice squad player" who "made a hell of a catch" and stated that the play probably will never happen again.
Coach Replies to the Criticism
Gardner-Johnson added that the receiver probably will not be heard from again. He also claimed that the Patriots did not do anything better than the Bills during the match.
Patriots coach Mike Vrabel fired back at the defensive back on Monday. Vrabel pointed out how many teams Gardner-Johnson has played for and praised Chism for his hard work and dedication.
