Atlanta's Ground Dominance
It took Bijan Robinson exactly three plays to make a statement on Monday night. He opened the scoring with a 59-yard touchdown run and finished with 145 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries. Brian Robinson Jr. added three touchdowns of his own in the victory.
The duo broke 11 tackles. The Falcons became the first NFL team ever to win consecutive games on the road, in primetime, and by 20-plus points. Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. was efficient, completing 15-of-20 passes for 223 yards and one touchdown with no interceptions.
Saints Struggle Again
The New Orleans Saints left the field searching for answers after a 45-24 defeat. Their performance included eight penalties, a missed field goal, and eight turnovers. The defense played without starting linebacker Kaden Elliss and several linemen, giving up 207 yards on the ground.
Quarterback Tyler Shough completed 30-of-48 passes for one touchdown and no interceptions. He was under constant pressure, getting pressured on 35 percent of his snaps. The Saints dropped to a 1-3 record after the loss.
