Everton Target Rashford Loan As Transfer Market Heats Up

Everton are weighing up a January loan move for Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford. The deal could be similar to the one Manchester City used for winger Jack Grealish. The 28 year old England international is back at United after loan spells at Aston Villa and Barcelona. However, he has not scored or provided an assist this season and may want a fresh start.

Everton are also looking at Real Sociedad forward Orri Óskarsson. They face competition from Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United, and Sunderland. To strengthen their defense, Everton and Crystal Palace have asked about Lecce central defender Tiago Gabriel. The Portugal defender extended his contract until 2030, and his transfer is valued between 25 million euros and 30 million euros. Meanwhile, Chelsea still want Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite.

Monaco stars attract Premier League interest

Arsenal and Chelsea are keeping tabs on AS Monaco striker Paris Brunner. The 20 year old Germany U21 international is also tracked by Bayern Munich, Barcelona, and Paris Saint Germain. Monaco need to raise funds, which might allow an early January transfer with a loan back arrangement.

Liverpool have made contact with the representatives of Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara. A January move for the 22 year old Senegal international is off the table, but both Liverpool and Chelsea will explore a deal next year. A 55 million euro transfer to Chelsea fell through during the summer window.

Other transfer moves across Europe

Bayer Leverkusen want to keep winger Ibrahim Maza despite interest from Paris Saint Germain. PSG see the Algeria international as a mid season replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who suffered a season ending ACL injury. Elsewhere, Bayern Munich hope to complete a contract extension for Harry Kane before the end of the year. Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is also close to extending his deal until June 2028.
