Haaland prefers LaLiga move
Erling Haaland prefers a move to Spain over joining Arsenal. The Manchester City striker has identified 2027 as a potential departure date from the Etihad, even though his contract runs until 2034. This decision comes after news of City's financial charges, which could result in the club being relegated.
Arsenal have the financial strength to pursue the Norway striker. However, Haaland's camp wants a move to Spain. Both Barcelona and Real Madrid are ready to fight for his signature if he becomes available.
Barcelona and Serie A transfer updates
Barcelona are also looking at other options. They retain an interest in Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi. The Spanish giants tracked the 22 year old Germany Under 21 international during the summer. Barcelona eventually chose to sign Gabriel Jesus from Arsenal, but they could try to sign Tresoldi again in a future transfer window.
Meanwhile, Liverpool winger Federico Chiesa wants a return to Serie A in January. Internazionale, Atalanta, and Lazio are all tracking the Italy international. Chiesa is looking for regular first team football after struggling for playing time at Anfield.
Spurs and Juventus track targets
Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring Brighton winger Kaoru Mitoma because contract extension talks have stalled. Spurs manager Roberto De Zerbi wants to work with the 29 year old Japan international again. Liverpool are also interested in Mitoma, who is entering the final 18 months of his contract.
Juventus are looking to sign Brentford right back Michael Kayode to improve their defense. The Italian club has watched their former youth player for several seasons. Juventus are also considering Fiorentina midfielder Cher Ndour and Borussia Dortmund youngster Samuele Inacio.
