Fresh Injury Blow For Cincinnati

The Cincinnati Bengals officially placed tight end Erick All Jr on injured reserve on Tuesday. This decision comes after the player suffered what is believed to be a season ending knee injury during the team's Week 7 victory.

Cincinnati defeated the Baltimore Ravens by a score of 35-13 in that contest. All went down with less than six minutes remaining in the third quarter. He was immediately ruled out for the rest of the game as medical staff attended to him. A source confirmed that the team fears he has suffered a torn ACL.

Repeated Knee Troubles For The Tight End

If the initial diagnosis proves correct, this will mark the third time that All has suffered a torn ACL in his right knee. The tight end has faced a very difficult injury history over recent years.

His first ACL tear occurred in 2023 during his time playing college football at Iowa. He suffered the same injury again in 2024 during his rookie season in the NFL. Due to that second injury, All missed the entire 2025 season while working through his recovery process. Heading into the current season, All stated that he felt back to 100 percent health before this latest setback occurred.

Contribution To The Bengals Attack

Before his injury on Sunday, All had played in six games this season for Cincinnati. He served as the primary dual purpose tight end for the team, splitting his snaps between pass catching duties and run blocking situations.

During those six appearances, All managed to record eight catches for 56 yards before going down against Baltimore. His ability to block and catch made him an important part of the offensive system.

Cam Grandy Returned To Roster

Following the injury to All, Cincinnati acted quickly to fill the open spot on their active roster. The franchise signed tight end Cam Grandy off the Minnesota Vikings practice squad.

Grandy is already familiar with the organization. He previously spent two seasons with the Bengals before being waived during the final squad cuts at the end of the preseason. Now he returns to help provide depth for the team going forward.
