Christian Pulisic Agrees Long Term AC Milan Contract Extension

New contract deal at San Siro

United States star Christian Pulisic is preparing to commit his long term future to AC Milan. The 28 year old forward is set to sign a new contract extending his stay until 2031.

The deal is expected to be officially announced in the coming days. His current agreement was due to run out in June 2027, but he has decided to add four more years to his contract with the Italian club.

Impacting the squad in Serie A

Pulisic moved to AC Milan in 2023 from Chelsea for a transfer fee around 22 million Euros, equal to 24.4 million dollars. Milan beat competition from rival clubs including Juventus, Lyon, and Galatasaray to secure his signature.

Since arriving in Serie A, he has scored 44 goals and provided 28 assists in 141 appearances. He finished as the top scorer for the team during the 2024 and 2025 season.

After missing most of preseason because of an injury suffered at the World Cup, he returned to action under manager Ruben Amorim. He has become an important option in Amorim's system, playing as a number 10 and on the wing.

Previous career and national team success

Before his move to Italy, Pulisic started his European career at Borussia Dortmund in 2015. Chelsea then bought him in 2018 for 58 million pounds, or 71.7 million dollars. He won the Champions League with Chelsea in 2021, but injuries repeatedly limited his progress while playing in England.

For his national team, Pulisic remains a leader for the United States. He has recorded 33 goals in 90 caps and featured at both the 2022 and 2026 World Cup tournaments. He was named the United States Soccer male player of the year four times, winning the award in 2017, 2019, 2021, and 2023.
