Kane's NFL ambitions
Harry Kane has often talked about playing in the NFL one day. The England captain and Bayern Munich forward even suggested he might try it while also playing in MLS. Cam Little, who kicks for the Jacksonville Jaguars, believes Kane has the technical ability to make it work.
Little knows a lot about both sports because he grew up playing soccer as a midfielder before switching to American football in high school. He recently kicked a 57 yard field goal to beat the Philadelphia Eagles 19-17 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The mental challenge
While Little thinks Kane has the right skills, he pointed out that the hardest part would be cultural. Soccer players are involved for the full ninety minutes, but kickers spend most of the match sitting on the sidelines.
Little explained that Kane is used to being a star striker who drives his team forward. As an NFL kicker, he would have to step back and let others do the heavy lifting while waiting for rare moments to perform.
