No pressure over price tag or Salah

Liverpool forward Bradley Barcola has stated that he feels no pressure following his big transfer from Paris Saint Germain. The Frenchman joined the Reds in August in a deal that could reach £123 million.

Speaking about his large transfer fee, Barcola made it clear that he did not decide the cost. He also spoke about following in the footsteps of Mohamed Salah, who moved to Trabzonspor.

Barcola stated that Salah is a huge club legend who achieved great things. He noted that he has enormous respect for Salah, but added that he is not Mohamed Salah and wants to make his own mark.

A long ambition to play in England

The 24-year-old winger spent three years at Paris Saint Germain after coming through the youth ranks at Lyon. He won many trophies in France, but felt this past summer was the right time to leave.

Barcola revealed that he has always wanted to play in the Premier League ever since he was young. When a club like Liverpool came calling, he had no doubts and knew he had to make the move.

While he admitted that leaving Paris Saint Germain was hard because the team felt like a real family, he is happy with his new chapter on Merseyside.

Mixed start and looking ahead

Barcola has experienced a mixed start to his career in England. He scored a hat trick in the Champions League against LASK, but is still waiting for his first Premier League goal, though he does have two assists in the league.

When asked if fans have seen his best football yet, the forward admitted that there is much more to come. He believes that working with his teammates will help them make the most of his strengths once their understanding grows.

Liverpool recently suffered a 1-0 loss to Arsenal in the Premier League. They now prepare to face Fenerbahce in the Champions League before playing Crystal Palace on Sunday.
