Winning streak continues

Barcelona kept up their perfect start to the season with a 4-1 victory against Galatasaray in the Champions League on Tuesday. Aleksey Batrakov scored first for the home team in Istanbul, but Joao Cancelo equalized before halftime. Fermin Lopez, Anthony Gordon, and Karim Adeyemi scored in the second half to secure the win for the Spanish champions.

This result means Barcelona have won all 10 of their matches to start the campaign, including eight in LaLiga. They have scored 43 goals so far, even though many doubted where the goals would come from before the season started after the departures of Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres. Now, seven different players have already scored multiple goals.

Flick urges caution

Despite the great form, coach Hansi Flick warned that football can change very quickly. When asked if his team is unstoppable, he said they are happy and confident in their style, but big titles are won in May and June. He added that they are working every day for that goal.

Teenager Lamine Yamal was named the match MVP after another brilliant display. He set up Lopez with a cross and helped create Gordon's goal, while also playing a part in the other two strikes. Yamal now has eight goals and nine assists in 10 appearances this term.
