The Primetime King
Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson has established himself as a dominant player under the lights. Since the 1970 NFL merger, no player averages more scrimmage yards per game in primetime than Robinson. He averages 145.4 yards in 11 primetime games, easily beating legendary running back Barry Sanders who sits in second place with 126.3 yards.
Robinson continues to show why the Falcons made him one of the highest paid running backs in the league. He signed a three year extension worth a base of 66.75 million dollars, which could rise to 75 million dollars. Green Bay Packers running back Kaleb Johnson praised the deal, saying, "He deserves every penny of that."
Unstoppable Form
Robinson was outstanding in Week 3 against the Green Bay Packers. He led Atlanta to a 35-14 road victory with 29 carries for 194 yards and two touchdowns, whilst adding 19 receiving yards. Packers head coach Matt LaFleur called him "one of the best in the league at any position."
The running back was a first team All Pro in 2025, and he is currently leading the league with 467 scrimmage yards. He also ranks second with 349 rushing yards. Robinson has a habit of making massive plays in big games, including a 93 yard run against the Los Angeles Rams and an 81 yard run against the Buffalo Bills last season.
His teammate, defensive tackle Gervon Dexter Sr., went even further with his praise. Dexter said of Robinson, "He's the best player I've ever seen play football."
