Arteta collects evidence on rival managers
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said he has a massive storage of images showing rival Premier League managers breaking touchline rules. This happened after he received his second yellow card of the season during his team's 2-0 win against Everton on Saturday.
Moyes and Arsenal assistant Gabriel Heinze were also booked by referee Tony Harrington during a bad-tempered game. Arteta suggested he was being harshly treated by saying other managers leave the technical area much more than he does without getting punished.
Risk of a touchline ban
Arteta has a reputation for being an active presence on the touchline and regularly leaves his technical area during games, even though regulations do not allow that. He will face a one-match touchline ban if he receives a third yellow card.
Arteta told reporters that he would need sensors to prevent him from leaving his technical area and earning another booking. He acknowledged that he has to be careful during future matches.
Title race heating up
Arsenal moved level on points with leaders Manchester City on Saturday. Manchester City lost 2-1 at Aston Villa, while goals from Ezri Konsa and Gabriel Magalhães sealed victory for Arsenal against David Moyes' team.
