Premier League giants eye Brentford winger
Arsenal and Liverpool are looking to strengthen their squads with a move for Brentford winger Kevin Schade. The 24 year old Germany international has attracted serious interest from both clubs. Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are also admirers of the winger, who has entered the final two years of his current contract. Brentford are trying to ward off this interest by holding initial talks with Schade over a new and improved contract.
Defensive reshuffles on the cards
Liverpool and Manchester City are looking to the future as they prepare for the eventual departures of Virgil van Dijk and Ruben Dias. Both clubs, along with Chelsea and Barcelona, are keeping tabs on Inter Milan defender Alessandro Bastoni. The 27 year old Italy international was a major target in the summer, but Inter held firm on their valuation of close to 70 million pounds. Meanwhile, Liverpool are highly pleased with Ronald Araujo, who is currently on loan from Barcelona. The 27 year old Uruguay international has played seven matches for the club, already convincing them and Andoni Iraola. Liverpool could trigger a 55 million euros option to sign him permanently.
Midfield and youth targets in demand
Midfielder Marcos Llorente is another target for Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester City. The 31 year old Atletico Madrid player is in talks over a new deal with the Spanish club, but Premier League sides are watching closely as his contract nears its end. Real Madrid are also scanning the market for defenders. They are monitoring Stuttgart center back Finn Jeltsch. The 20 year old recently earned his first Germany call up from Jurgen Klopp after moving to Stuttgart in January 2025.
More transfer battles across Europe
Several other big names could be on the move soon. Barcelona attacking midfielder Dani Olmo has been offered to Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Tottenham. Additionally, United are interested in Barcelona left back Alejandro Balde, who could leave in January. In Italy, AC Milan are prepared to let the contracts of Fikayo Tomori and Ruben Loftus Cheek run down, with Tomori potentially leaving as early as January.
