No Coaching Changes

Arizona coach Mike LaFleur stated on Monday that he does not plan on making changes to any of the team's coaching duties after a 1-4 start. This follows a 45-21 loss to the Detroit Lions. LaFleur confirmed he will not replace himself as the offensive playcaller, and defensive coordinator Nick Rallis will continue calling defensive plays.

LaFleur explained his position by stating that his job is to handle issues and have tough conversations. He added that if he felt changes were needed to help win this week, he would make them, but he does not think that gives them the best chance to win.

Roster and Performance Review

One potential change for Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams involves rookie quarterback Carson Beck. LaFleur mentioned that Arizona will discuss putting Beck on the active roster instead of keeping him as the inactive emergency quarterback.

The Cardinals are reviewing all three phases after a difficult stretch. The defense has allowed more than 30 points in each of the past four games, which all ended in losses. Despite this, LaFleur expressed confidence in his defensive players and noted some recent bright spots, such as seven sacks in the past two games.
